Triptych Summer Breeze 

Description

I made the triptych Summer Breeze for day 38, 39 en 41 of #100daysoftinydots, my contribution to #the100dayproject. It’s an online art project, in which you explore your creativity, during hundred days.

For this project I made the choice to create little works of art with my tiny dots. Little canvases, canvas boards, magnets and greeting cards. All painted by hand, obviously.

These three little canvases form the triptych Summer Breeze. The colours I used are in reference to the summer that was blazing at the time and a breeze would be welcomed with lots of enthusiasm.

I used purple, blue, green and white in every painting. These are the colours of a specific kind of weed that always makes me happy when I walk by with my dog. In the left painting I have used pink as an additional colour and orange for the right painting. After I painted the last painting I saw that it connects the other two, hence the triptych Summer Breeze. 🙂
