And before you know it, your eldest child is living on her own. When my daughter moved out in the summer of 2021, I let her choose a painting to take with her. This is the painting she chose.

I made the painting a few months earlier and for the first time ever I used only one colour for the small and the bigger white dots. And I even left some spaces open, so I could show the beautiful colours of the background. It resulted in an open and soft look.

The cotton canvas is a so-called 3D canvas, where the sides have a height of 4.5 centimetres so they can also be painted. In this painting, the circles continue on all sides of the canvas.

Perfect for my daughter, also as a symbol of the bond between two women.
